BRISBANE COMEDY FESTIVAL

Australia’s fastest-growing ​comedy ​festival, ​Brisbane Comedy​ Festival, has grown into a multi-venue extravaganza, bursting at the seams to host a hand-picked selection of the funniest folk in the country.

Held at Brisbane Powerhouse, Brisbane City Hall, The Tivoli, The Fortitude Music Hall, and Newstead Brewing Co., Brisbane Comedy Festival hosts one-liners, whimsy and mockery from more than 85 of the most hilarious national and international comedians.

BRISBANE MARATHON FESTIVAL

2-4 June 2023
The Brisbane Marathon Festival is a world-class event attracting elite and recreational as well as encouraging the local community to get out and get active and enjoy visiting Brisbane city.

EKKA

12-20 August 2023
The Ekka, formally known as the The Royal Queensland Show, showcases the best of Queensland, attracting more than 21,000 competition entries from woodchop, to giant vegetables, 10,000 animals from beef cattle to cats and dogs, world-class live entertainment, award-winning food and wine, carnival rides and showbags, family shopping, educational activities and much more.

The curated multi-arts program presents a bold international program transporting the audience beyond the everyday through captivating performances and installations from across the world.

SWEET AS – BRISBANE DESSERT FESTIVAL

Presented by The World Food Markets, the Sweet As Dessert Festival brings you a jam-packed day full of sweets & treats from an awesome line-up of Queensland’s best dessert makers. You can have dessert for breakfast, brunch or lunch. There will also be street food, live music, pop-up bars, dessert cocktails, kids activities and entertainment as well as cooking demonstrations throughout the day.
